Viognier

Viognier is a white grape variety that was originally cultivated in the northern Côtes du Rhône. After almost disappeared, it has become since the last quarter of the twentieth century one of the most popular varieties in the world.

The origin of the grape necessarily related to the region where it was originally grown and comes from the wild vines Rhône region. Legend has it that Viognier is Dalmatian origin, brought into Gaul by empereur Probus. The name it is come from to Celtic vidual (wood) which is found in the Savoyard Vions place name. In 2004, an analysis of his DNA, conducted by researchers at the California University Davis, has proven Alpine origin since grape of Piedmont, the Freisa grape is his descendant, in addition, genetically related to Nebbiolo. . .

Chianti is a red wine of Italian origin famous all over the world. It is produced in the region of Chianti in Tuscany and its history dates back to the thirteenth century.

Its composition was established by the former Italian Prime Minister Bettino Ricasoli. It comprises four to five grapes varieties:

Vidal Blanc 

Vidal Blanc is a white hybrid grape, a cross of Trebbiano and Rayon d'Or. This variety has a high level of sugar in order to be highly resistant to the cold climate and it while maintaining an acidity level, widely used in north-eastern United States and Canada.

Created in 1930 with the goal was to develop a wine that could make brandy.

It is the most used variety for making white wines in Quebec. It is also often used for ice wine, particularly in Ontario. It is also grown in the northeast of China, with the subarctic climate. . .

Sparkling wine

Sparkling wine is a wine with significant levels of carbon dioxide in it, making it fizzy. The carbon dioxide may result from natural fermentation, as with the traditional method, in a large tank designed to withstand the pressures involved, or as a result of carbon dioxide injection.

Sparkling wine is usually white or rosé but there are examples of red sparkling wines such as the Italian Brachetto, Australian sparkling Shiraz, and Azerbaijani "Pearl of Azerbaijan" made from Madrasa grapes, the sparkling wine can range from very dry (brut) styles to sweeter (doux) varieties
