Frontenac

Frontenac is an hybrid grape vine that is a result of research and cross-breeding very cold hardy selection of Vitis riparia by the University of Minnesota. It was released in 1996.

Frontenac gris is a white wine version of Frontenac, introduced in 2003. It started as a single bud mutation of Frontenac, yielding gray, fruit and amber-colored juice. Frontenac blanc will be introduced in 2012 from white fruited mutations found in both Frontenac and Frontenac gris vines in Minnesota and Canada

Frontenac has been used for the production of dry red wines, rose, as well as for fortified wine in the style of port. . .

Sangiovese

Sangiovese is the main red grape of Chianti and much of central Italy. This is the most widespread grape variety in Italy. It is called Brunello in southern Tuscany. (DOCG Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano)

Its name comes from Sangue (Blood) and Giove (Jupiter) and therefore means blood of Jupiter.

It provides fruity, with colorful and slightly acidic, which like the great Italian cuisine with tomato.

It is also present in California and many states in USA, in Argentina, Australia and Corsica, where it is called Niellucciu (or Nielluccio) …

Zinfandel or Primitivo

Zinfandel is a red grape representing nearly 10% of the California vineyard. Some analysis revealed that is the genetic equivalent of Crljenak Kaštelanski present in Croatia and with the Primitivo cultivated in the Italian region of Puglia.

It is also met in Australia, New Zealand, United States, Brazil, Chile, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Albania, Malta, Portugal, Greece, and Croatia.

Sparkling wine is a wine with significant levels of carbon dioxide in it, making it fizzy. The carbon dioxide may result from natural fermentation, as with the traditional method, in a large tank designed to withstand the pressures involved, or as a result of carbon dioxide injection.

Sparkling wine is usually white or rosé but there are examples of red sparkling wines such as the Italian Brachetto, Australian sparkling Shiraz, and Azerbaijani "Pearl of Azerbaijan" made from Madrasa grapes, the sparkling wine can range from very dry (brut) styles to sweeter (doux) varieties
