Chambourcin : is a French black wine grape
The genetic origin of the grape is a hybrid grape from the Chancellor made after 1945 and has been marketed as from 1963. The grape is allowed in many departments in
South-West of France.
The grape is very strong and the production is good. It is fairly resistant to mildew and powdery mildtrong>ew. Chambourcin is sensitive to cold, drought and a viral disease called mosaic-Joannès seyve. Who i causes sterility sick strains.
It gives an alcoholic and rich wine color that age well. . .
