Syrah

Syrah is a black French and Swiss grape variety characteristic of the northern part of the Côtes du Rhône and Rhône Valley (Switzerland). Today increasing surface, it is fast becoming a globally-oriented variety.

Syrah is predominant in the northern Côtes du Rhône. This is the only grape permitted for red wines Cornas appellation. It can be associated with the Marsanne and Roussanne in the Crozes-Hermitagestrong> appellation, Hermitage and Saint-Joseph, and viognier in red wines of the appellation Côte Rôtie. . .
