Cayuga is a mid-season ripening grape developed from crossings of the Schuyler and Seyval Blanc hybrids at the Cornell University Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, New York.

It is a rustic vine resistant to the disease. In warmer climates,

it can produce a beautiful sparkling wine with a good balance, or a fruity white wine similar to a Riesling or a Viognier.

This grape, when grown on mature vines in fertile soil, can produce amazing yields, relatively easy. In colder climates, Cayuga is the most popular hybrid grape to make good wine. . .

Concord grape

The Concord grape is a black grape cultivar derived from the Vitis labrusca that are used as table grapes, wine grapes and juice grapes. They are often used to make grape jelly. The grape is sometimes used to make wine. Traditionally, most commercially produced Concord wines have been finished sweet, but dry versions are possible.

The skin of a Concord grape is typically dark blue or purple, Concord grapes have large seeds and are highly aromatic.

Frontenac is an hybrid grape vine that is a result of research and cross-breeding very cold hardy selection of Vitis riparia by the University of Minnesota. It was released in 1996.

Frontenac Gris is a white wine version of Frontenac, introduced in 2003. It started as a single bud mutation of Frontenac, yielding gray, fruit and amber-colored juice. It is aged in new smoke-blackened oak barrels (aging is optional for the “bourbon” appellation, but aging for at least two years is required for the “straight bourbon” appellation). Nor should it undergo any coloring or alteration of its taste between distillation and bottling.
