Vidal Blanc is a white hybrid grape, a cross of Trebbiano and Rayon d'Or. This variety has a high level of sugar in order to be highly resistant to the cold climate and it while maintaining an acidity level, widely used in north-eastern United States and Canada.

Created in 1930 with the goal was to develop a wine that could make brandy.

Viognier

Viognier is a white grape variety that was originally cultivated in the northern Côtes du Rhône. After almost disappeared, it has become since the last quarter of the twentieth century one of the most popular varieties in the world.

The origin of the grape necessarily related to the region where it was originally grown and comes from the wild vines Rhône region. White Cabernet Sauvignon Producers Ohio Vineyards

 

 

 

Cabernet Sauvignon is a black grape of French origin. Grape is known worldwide it has become one of the most common grape varieties in the world. It grows in most wine producing countries in a variety of climates ranging from Canada to Lebanon. He owes his international recognition to Bordeaux vineyard, where it is often blended with Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

This variety has spread from France to Europe and then in all new wine regions such as California, Australia and Chile. During the twentieth century, it was the most planted grape in the world until it is surpassed by Merlot in 1990.

Despite the globalization of culture, this grape is a relatively new variety. It is the product of miscegenation between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc made by chance in the seventeenth century…

This grape became to be commercially in 1830 and very soon after that came to dominate wine production in the eastern and mid western United States.

Norton is a grape cultivar believed to be largely derived from Vitis aestivalis, is grown in the Midwestern United States, Mid-Atlantic States, northeastern Georgia and, most recently, in California.

Norton was first cultivated in Richmond, Virginia and is the official grape of the State of Missouri ...
