Müller-Thurgau is a white wine grape, also widely known as the Rivaner grape. He is originally from Switzerland and Franconia. Its grape gives simple and accessible wine to drink young.

Müller-Thurgau grape comes from a seedling, probably Riesling and Madeleine Angevine. Genetic testing has established that this is a cross between Riesling and Madeleine Angevine.

It is found in Germany, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, France, Moldova. New Zealand, United States, Australia. . . .
